Its a celebrity marriage that came with its ravish.
Global pop icon Taylor Swift and NFL superstar Travis Kelce have officially tied the knot in a lavish, celebrity-packed ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City, bringing one of the world’s most closely watched modern romances to a dramatic and glittering conclusion.

The wedding, held on Friday, transformed the legendary arena, usually reserved for concerts and championship sports, into a grand stage of romance, fashion, and celebrity spectacle.
The couple reportedly broke with conventional wedding customs, choosing not to include bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, family members played central roles: Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her “man of honour,” while Jason Kelce stood beside his brother as best man.
On the other hand, actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, adding a Hollywood touch to a wedding already overflowing with entertainment royalty and sports icons.
Swift wore a custom-designed Dior couture gown created under Jonathan Anderson, paired with Cartier jewellery and Christian Louboutin heels. Kelce complemented her look in a tailored Dior suit with matching Louboutin footwear.
Outside the venue, giant displays lit up Madison Square Garden with celebratory messaging reading “JUST MARRIED,” turning Midtown Manhattan into a glowing tribute to the couple’s union.
The ceremony reportedly drew a vast crowd of celebrities from across film, music, fashion, and sport. Tight security surrounded the venue as hundreds of guests entered the arena for what has already been described as one of the most high-profile weddings of the decade.
When it all started
Swift and Kelce’s relationship began in 2023, after Kelce publicly expressed interest in meeting the singer during her Eras Tour era. What started as a light-hearted pop culture moment quickly evolved into a global fascination, with Swift frequently attending NFL games and Kelce appearing at major stops on her tour.
Their engagement in 2025 set off months of speculation about their wedding plans, culminating in the highly anticipated ceremony in New York.
The union has been widely described as a cultural crossover between music and American football, two industries with massive global influence. The wedding itself, staged at Madison Square Garden, reflects that scale, blending entertainment, sport, and celebrity culture into a single spectacle.
