THE DISCIPLE

I love love, I really do,
No matter how it shows up, it’s beautiful.
Love in a garden, love in a triangle,
Love on a tree and even love wey no gree.

Love is incorrigible, an incurable virus,
Lined on the faces of its disciples and victims.
Love wey make strong men fall yakata like dominoes,
Adam, David, even mighty Samson knows.

Love at its peak is magical, inexplicable,
So here I am running, running in circles,
Trying to navigate my path till I grasp
the very essence of this sly fox that made Troy fall.

But love is sweet, like it or not,
Even if na scam I jam, I will not give up,
Till I possess the power and heart
To love Him, me, and you.

Make love sef love me back,
‘Cause this writer like love no be small.
Yes, I love love, and one day,
I know love will love me too.
