Silent Grief – A Moan By Logic

My friend became UK’d, then I lost him.
Not literally, but to the ideal of the un-ideal.
His self-worth buried underneath a stack of bills,
Where he would find his daily bread and breadth as long as he lives.

The Western commotion pulls many more in,
Into the mumbo-jumbo of purpose pursuit.
All perfectly disguised as mental slavery,
Communal spirit disappears and the appearance of evil is hidden in a rainbow.

I can understand why no other option makes any sense than a greener side cliché.
Millions more march between the slides of worthless living where life is simple and hapless.
Who wouldn’t exchange it for winter and loneliness?
