The Paris Olympics 2024 officially commenced with a dazzling Opening Ceremony held along the iconic River Seine. Marking a historic first, the ceremony took place outside the traditional Olympic Stadium. The event featured a stunning performance by Lady Gaga, who opened the ceremony, while Celine Dion closed the show with a memorable act.
The celebrations ushered in the start of the games, even though the first events, including the men’s football tournament, had already begun on Wednesday. The Olympics will continue until the evening of August 11.
