Popular Nollywood actor and event planner, Jide Adegbite, widely known as “Miliki Daddy,” has been ordained as a Special Apostle in the Cherubim & Seraphim (C&S) Movement Church.
The colourful ceremony, held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Galilee, attracted an array of dignitaries, spiritual leaders, and members of the C&S Movement from across Nigeria.
Attendees described Adegbite as a committed servant of God whose faith and dedication have long reflected in his contributions to the church.
Adegbite’s promotion from Most Senior Apostle to Special Apostle was in recognition of his active involvement and impactful service in the church community.
He was ordained alongside Elder Hon. Olajide Olugbade and several other members of the C&S Movement worldwide.
During the event, the leader of the C&S Movement Church Headquarters, Ibadan District, Special Apostle Adeleye Adekunle, was also elevated to the rank of Senior Special Apostle.
Presiding over the ceremony was His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo (JP) FNACM, DDM, the Supreme Head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria and Spiritual Father and Chairman of the C&S Movement Worldwide (Ayo Ni O).
Adegbite, who hails from a prominent C&S family, expressed deep gratitude to God and his supporters after the ordination. His grandfather, Most Snr. Special Apostle Dr. Josiah Aderoju Adegbite (GCP), founded the C&S Church Movement in the former Western Region of Nigeria, while his father, Most Snr. Special Apostle Dr. (PhD) Joseph Adebowale Adegbite, currently serves as Chairman of the Ibadan District of the church, a position he assumed after his ordination in 2021.
Reflecting on his new role, the actor described his ordination as both an honour and a renewed call to service.
“I thank God for the privilege to serve and contribute positively to His vineyard,” Adegbite said. “This ordination will inspire me to do even more for the work of the kingdom.”
He also extended appreciation to his family, fans, and well-wishers for their support before, during, and after the ceremony, encouraging them to “continue supporting kingdom work at all times.”
Known for his energy on screen and passion for faith, Miliki Daddy continues to bridge the worlds of entertainment and spirituality, earning admiration as both an artist and a devoted apostle.
