The Federal Government has launched the application portal for the second phase of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellowship Programme (NJFP), a European Union–funded initiative designed to equip young graduates with paid work experience and career-development opportunities.
The programme, first introduced as part of national efforts to strengthen youth employability, will place selected fellows in private and public institutions across the country, where they will receive mentorship, professional training and practical exposure in various fields.
Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of N150,000 during the fellowship period. According to programme coordinators, the aim is not only to boost job readiness but also to expand leadership capacity and prepare young professionals to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic development.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
-Be Nigerian citizens aged 30 or below
-Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline
– Have graduated with at least a Second-Class Lower (2.2) for degree holders or a minimum Upper Credit (3.00) for HND holders
– Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme or possess an exemption letter
– Be currently unemployed and committed to pursuing a professional career
