For the Moulders of Tomorrow: Celebrating Teachers Who Truly – By Bolutife Oluwadele

Moulders of Tomorrow

You are the quiet architects of dawn,

Who take the unshaped clay and gently guide

The restless mind, the fragile spirit torn

Between the world outside and peace inside.

You do not merely fill the empty shelf

With dates, facts, and figures for the test,

But build the curious, confident self,

And point the heart toward what matters best.

You are the gardeners who see the seed

Of greatness hidden in the troubled soul,

Who recognize the unacknowledged need,

And work to make a broken person whole.

For teaching’s true art lies not in the book,

But in the silent, knowing look you give,

The way you learn each student’s special hook,

And show them how to use the will to live.

So may you be upheld by grateful hands,

And may your worth be known in heart and deed.

This world depends upon the love you plant

The selfless, hopeful, and eternal seed.

May blessings rain upon you, gentle, strong,

And may you feel, in every tired bone,

The echo of the future in your song

The lives you’ve touched, the kindness you have sown.

Happy Teachers’ Day 2025
