Falcon Aero Sets Sights on Global Skies with Strategic Appointment of Jean-Claude Kouyo

A Nigerian business aviation firm, Falcon Aerospace Limited, has appointed a seasoned flight safety and flight support specialist, Jean-Claude Kuoyo to help expand its international imprints.

Kuoyo, who is from Ivory Coast had joined the company as its Director of Growth for the Europe, Middle-East, and African (EMEA) regions. This appointment marks a pivotal moment for Falcon Aero as it positions itself for greater influence on the global stage.

 

A Global Vision Takes Flight

Falcon Aero, known for its comprehensive aviation services, including aircraft charter, maintenance, acquisition, and fractional ownership, has chosen Kouyo to spearhead its growth initiatives in the EMEA regions.

The Ivorian native, based in France, brings a wealth of experience and a global perspective to the table, having received education both in France and the United States and being fluent in both English and French.

The aviation firm, which operates through subsidiaries like Vivajets, Charterxe, and FlyPJX, has been making significant strides beyond its Nigerian roots. Recent international operations span across Africa, Europe, the Middle-East, and the establishment of an office in North America.

The Chief Executive of Falcon Aero,  Erika Achum was excited about Kouyo’s addition to the leadership team, emphasizing his brilliance as an aviation expert and business strategist.

He says:

“His insights gained from diverse international engagements will be valuable for our growth as we step up our global operations,” Achum stated.”

Kouyo’s appointment aligns with Falcon Aero’s commitment to long-term business sustainability, diversity, and strong corporate governance.

Also speaking, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Tejumade Salami sees this move as another step in Falcon Aero’s quest for global dominance.

Salami affirms:

“We are an African company proud of our heritage and our efforts at facilitating business connectivity in Africa. This is a principle that we are also taking to the global stage as we upscale our operations in Europe and the Middle East,” 

Jean-Claude Kouyo: A Seasoned Aviation Expert

With over two decades of experience in the aviation industry, Kouyo brings a multifaceted background that includes flight training, sales, strategy, and marketing. His previous roles include serving as the Regional Sales Manager for Jetex Flight Support, where he focused on Africa, and as the International Marketing and Sales Manager for AV8 MRO.

Kouyo holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Professional Aeronautics from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA, and a B.E. in Propulsion from the Air Force Technical School in Rochefort, France.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Kouyo remarked:
