Eid-El-Kabir: Engr. Akomolafe Congratulates Muslims, Urges Devotion to Allah’s Will

Engr. Henrich Bankole Akomolafe has extended heartfelt congratulations to Muslim faithful in Nigeria and worldwide as they celebrate Eid-El-Kabir.

Eid-El-Kabir, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” honors the Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion to Allah, demonstrated by his willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail. This profound act of faith and obedience is central to Islamic teachings.

While Muslims partake in prayers, feasting, and gatherings with loved ones during this significant festival, Engr. Akomolafe emphasized the importance of reflecting on its deeper meanings. In a personally signed statement, he urged Muslims to practice absolute obedience to Allah’s will and embrace the necessary sacrifices for personal spiritual growth and national betterment.

“Nigeria is a deeply spiritual nation, but those powerful lessons of sacrifice and total commitment would be wasted if we do not emulate the Prophets,”

Akomolafe stated:

“We must each make the sacrifices required to rid our country of bad leadership, corruption, economic inequality, and other ills that hold us back.”

He called on all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to high moral values and unwavering obedience to Allah, stressing the importance of personal commitment to the sacrifices needed for Nigeria’s prosperity.

Akomolafe also requested that during this Eid period, Muslims and all Nigerians pray for wisdom and right action for leaders at both Federal and State levels.

“May God continue to guide them to serve the best interests of our people and nation,” he concluded.
