The Alumni Association of Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) has called on members to offer unwavering support to the newly appointed executives in their respective states and countries to foster growth and unity.
In a statement signed by the ACU Alumni President, Busoye Ogunlade, on Monday, he urged members to stand firmly behind the leadership as they work to strengthen the association.
“ACU alumni should give the executives in their countries and states your unwavering support so that we can collectively, steadily, and fearlessly navigate the tough terrain ahead of us,” Ogunlade said.
The Ajayi Crowther University Alumni Association mentioned that it has expanded its global network with the launch of new branches in three countries, including the United States of America, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
He added that the support of members would enable the new teams to build a “strong, efficient, and prosperous alumni association to the glory of God and humanity.”
As part of its commitment to improving communication and member engagement, the association has launched a new website, www.acu-alumni.com, to provide easy access to information on the institution and streamline processes such as transcript requests.
Ogunlade encouraged all members to register on the website, stressing its role in facilitating the collation of names and the disbursement of loans to support small-scale businesses among alumni.
“We have come up with different ideas to ease the burden on each student. This is why we created a new website to assist them in different ways, including disbursement of loans and processing their results and transcripts,” he added.
The ACU Alumni Association intends to foster stronger connections between graduates and the institution while offering practical support to members through innovative initiatives.
With the launch of the website and the call for collective action, the association is positioning itself to play a pivotal role in empowering its members and enhancing their contributions to society.
