A former Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has congratulated his mentee, Asiwaju Oladimeji, for earning a Master of Science degree in Conflict, Peace, and Strategic Studies from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), with a perfect 5.0 cumulative grade point average.
Oladimeji, a geospatial technology expert and sickle cell awareness advocate, achieved straight As in all 14 courses undertaken during his postgraduate programme.
His exceptional performance earned him the Founder’s Award for Deserving Students at ABUAD’s recent convocation ceremony, where he also revealed plans to pursue a PhD.
Celebrating his achievement, Oladimeji had earlier wrote on X:
“M.Sc Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies. 14 Courses! 14 As! 5.0 Final CGPA! Founder’s Award for Deserving Students! PhD (in view)! All thanks be to God. #Convocation #ABUAD.”
Reacting to the feat, Fayemi, a former minister and governor of Ekiti state, praised Oladimeji’s discipline and commitment to academic excellence, describing his success as a testament to Ekiti State’s enduring intellectual culture.
“Congratulations to my mentee, Asiwaju Oladimeji, on the outstanding feat of earning an MSc in Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) with a CGPA of 5.0,” Fayemi wrote on X.
