There is no other reason for having the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, and supporting “independent” think tank” organisations like Centre for Foreign Relations and many others than to protect, and promote US interests.
I’ve seen many being excited about a supposed “exposè” on how US is funding a NGO in Nigeria and many linking it to the outcome of 2015 General elections.
While many might find this newsworthy, and new, there is nothing in it. My opinion.
You think US will be so stupid to make the funding of such clandestine operations so open? You think every nation is as untidied and lousy as Nigeria?
Tell me and show me the trail of funds and funding for the coup plot in Niger Republic, then I will scream “wow“.
What many of you dont know that funding for covert ops are never from taxpayers money, it is from the sale of cocaine and sales of natural resources in international black market. Period!!!
Who do you think control the international black market for arms?
How did the US come about the funding for the Sandinitas and Contra Revolutionaries?
USAID and others are solely to serve US foreign interests and it’s no fault of theirs that the leadership of your country are willing and unwilling partners.
In 2015, it was PDP’s silliness and off putting attitude that made them lose, and was the same reason for it loss up till 2023.
Lobbying is a lucrative business in the US and all APC did was to get the right lobbyist firm(s) to pitch it to the US government and how it will serve its interests. Need I tell you that agreements were made?
Why didnt GEJ make a counter efforts to discredit APC’s false narratives? Was it CNN that churned out narratives and perceptions of how incompetent GEJ was?
All what happened was an amplification of local news to get the job done.
If PDP had employed lobbyist in 2023, you think Chicago State University wont be sanctioned or made to be sensible? You think the US government would have congratulated or recognised the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu?
One more thing…
On Trump, its just a function of time, even his allies within the Republican Party will prove to him why it is America first.
I’m so happy about Donald Trump. He is a Mugabe, Idi Amin, Museveni and Mobutu Seseko rolled into one. America must have a taste of what it has foisted on the world, especially Africa.
