Jonathan Anderson has won The Designer of the Year Award for the Second Consecutive Year at the UK Fashion Awards.
The Irish-born designer celebrated for his gender-fluid and innovative fashion, claimed the prestigious Designer of the Year award at the UK Fashion Awards for the second year in a row.
In his acceptance speech, Anderson credited his team for their support and brailer how fashion drives his passion daily.
“I love Fashion. It makes me get out of bed every morning,” he says.
The event, hosted by Maya Jama and Kojey Radical at London’s Royal Albert Hall, brought together stars from fashion and entertainment, including Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. Notable winners included:
- A$AP Rocky, who received the Cultural Innovator Award, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition.
- Alex Consani, who made history as the first trans woman to win Model of the Year.
- Tom Ford, honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award, introduced by Anna Wintour, who highlighted Ford’s fearless contributions to fashion.
The night was marked by striking moments, including passionate political statements by designer Simone Rocha and activist Nan Goldin, both calling to “Free Palestine.”
The evening ended on a vibrant note with a red disco ball lowering and a closing performance by Afrobeats sensation Wizkid.
Earlier, attendees were treated to a surprise performance by Blondie, capping off a night of glamour and celebration in the fashion world.
