Ahead of Wednesday’s kick-off, the organizing committee for the Prof Akin Oyebode Cup 2025 has mandated a final, compulsory physical screening and verification for all players.
The process will begin sharply at 8:00 AM on December 17th, 2025. Teams have been directed to arrive early and with a full contingent of players. The committee specifically advised squads to “bring enough players” to ensure coaches can select their final 21-man roster after the assessments.
In a decisive move, organizers clarified that participation is strictly conditional on attending the screening. They emphasized that any absent player will be barred from the entire competition.
