Nigeria is a mashup of beautiful attractions.

Across the mixture of greenery, valleys, deserts, and terrains, there are places that will make your adventurous spirit leap. Here are a few to tickle your fancy.

You can save up and explore these breathtaking sites;

Ikogosi Warm Springs

This tourist attraction located in Ikogosi, a town in Ekiti State, gathers visitors from all over Nigeria to witness the confluence of cold and warm water springs, which flow side by side but maintain their distinct temperatures.

There are hotels and lodges where visitors can stay overnight to fully experience the area.

Olumirin Waterfalls

Rocky cliffs, tall trees, and cascading falls make Olumirin Waterfalls a tourist delight. It’s also a perfect setting for mountaineering. Driving into the Erin-Ijesha community and walking towards the pool on the ground level is both soothing and refreshing. Local drummers often welcome visitors with songs and dancing, enhancing the enchanting atmosphere.

Gashaka Gumti National Park

Nigeria’s largest national park, covering an area of about 6,402 km², is located in the eastern provinces of Taraba and Adamawa up to the Cameroonian border.

Much of the park is characterized by savannah grassland, while the southern part features rugged terrain with mountainous slopes, valleys, and gorges. It is an important water catchment area for the River Benue and houses Nigeria’s highest mountain, Chappal Waddi.

Gurara Waterfalls

This waterfall is one of the tributaries of the River Niger and is just about three hours away from Abuja. It is perfect for picnics, swimming adventures, and hikes. The beautiful waterfall drops approximately 30 meters into the Gurara river and is a complete rush during the rainy seasons. During the dry season, the falls slow down, allowing visitors to swim in the clear pools at the bottom.

Kajuru Castle

Built in 1989, Kajuru Castle is a beautiful holiday spot that gives off a medieval feeling. Located atop a mountain in Kajuru Village, visitors can rent the entire castle and enjoy the royal treatment it offers. It’s an ideal destination for those looking to experience something unique and luxurious.

The Calabar Charm

The charm of Calabar is mixed with a taste of its rich culture, exemplified by the Tinapa Free Zone & Resort. This resort hypnotizes tourists with its entertainment zone, featuring restaurants, a digital cinema, a mini amphitheater, a children’s arcade, a nightclub, and Studio Tinapa for Nollywood.
